Host Night

The Host Night is the premier event for our host agencies, fostering fellowship among CALEA, law enforcement and their families. This conference's host night will be aboard the WWII Aircraft Carrier USS Yorktown. Guests will dine on "Lowcountry" cuisine while enjoying music and dancing to the East Coast Party Band. Guests will also have the opportunity to explore the historic USS Yorktown, Patriot's Point exhibits and ships, take advantage of free flight simulator rides, and later be shuttled to Charleston's famed historic district to enjoy the nightlife or just to stroll along the scenic waterfront.

Transportation will be provided by our sponsor, SchoolWheels Direct, from the Charleston Area Convention Center in North Charleston to the USS Yorktown beginning departure at 6:00pm, with return shuttles throughout the evening.

Entertainment will be provided by the East Coast Party Band.

Patriots Point Foundation is offering a raffle that will be awarded at the host night on the USS Yorktown. You DO NOT need to be present to win. If the winning ticket holder is not present, the item will be shipped. The funds generated will go directly to the Medal of Honor Museum Chapel Fund and will be matched 100% by an anonymous donor, doubling the contribution!

Three fabulous prizes

First Prize is a matted and framed Medal of Honor Museum Gala graphic with original signatures of nine Medal of Honor recipients: Bruce Crandall, Barney Barnum, Thomas Kelley, Jim Livingston, Sal Giunta, Hal Fritz, Doc Ballard, Pat Brady and Ken Stumpf. This is only one of five in the world.

Second Prize is a Ruger satin stainless SR1911 .45

Third Prize is a Mossberg MVP/Patrol scoped 7.62 rifle
